Our commitment to service is as strong today as it was when our great-grandfather Frank Gendreau started his business as a watch repair/jewelry store ninety-five years ago. You can be assured that your valued treasure, be it grandpa's gold graduation watch, your diamond engagement ring or that Mother's pin from Woolworths, is as important to us as it is to you.

Most jewelry repairs are done on-premises. While do-it-while-you-wait service is possible, a proper repair requires some time - from the initial thorough cleaning of the item, to the assembling the necessary tools and parts, to the cooling time, to the polishing and, finally, to the refinishing. Generally, all jewelry repairs are done in done in less than a week. We will accommodate wherever and whenever possible.

Do you have a secret drawer or box or corner reserved for things broken? Unwearable beautiful rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings that ...argghhhhhhh!...need repair? Bring them into the light! We can restore almost any piece of jewelry to its former pristine condition so you can again enjoy wearing it. If you need to update an out-of-style design, you can have your beautiful stones remounted.

We will examine your jewelry, itemize what is needed, assess the repair cost and schedule, and let you decide which old friends should bask in the light again! We will provide honest opinions and advise as to whether a piece is worth refurbishing.

We also repair watches. In addition to the usual new watch glasses, batteries and straps, we also repair quartz and mechanical movements. Due to the paucity of some parts, quotes as to the length of time and cost will be given as appropriate.

Appraisals are done by appointment. We strive to take the necessary information and return the items while you wait. However, a proper appraisal takes time both in the description and in the research. Before requesting and appraisal, talk to your insurance agent and see if he can advise you as to what should and shouldn't be listed as scheduled on your policy.
